The program begins on May 12, 2025, with two weeks of virtual lectures to prepare students for their time abroad and introduce them to the subject matter. On May 26, the group will gather in San José, Costa Rica, to begin the study abroad experience. We’ll spend a month abroad, combining lectures and excursions to explore diverse regions of the country—from bustling cities to remote research outposts. This journey will provide a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between Epigenetics, Environment, Health, Bioethics, and Sustainability. Students will return to the U.S. on June 25 and continue with virtual courses to review their experiences and integrate them within the program's broader context. The program will conclude on July 3, 2025. Point-to-point transport, housing, excursions, most meals, and other amenities are included in the program fee.
